Dotty...

In this page I have used a silhouette stencil and also put a dot stencil with it to get the dots to just be in the silhouette.  I then used a white Sharpie to outline the silhouette.

This is also a page that I have torn out of the journal, then torn in half and then stuck back in using Time Holtz Tissue Tape.  I really love doing this but it did take a bit of getting used to.

I love using this background stamp as a border.  I have it heaps of fun to colour the flowers.  Again I have used the white Sharpie to accent the centers of the flowers.

Soft Kitty...

I have been enjoying playing with different colours.  I love this one as I have only really used blues and yellow.  This page was one where I had been using to clean off my stencils.  The stencil pattern that you can see in white was from cleaning from a previous page.

I have also used the white to stamp the leaf pattern.  I have then used both a white and black Sharpie to outline the image to give more definition.

Don't you just love the spots on the kitty??

More art journal fun...

I love playing with colour and different ways to use your stamps.      Curious Corrin is standing on 2 border stamps that I have used back to back from the Further Around the Edge set.

I have started to use lines from songs in my journal.  I find the ones I like and I write them down and keep this in the front pocket of the journal.

I really love Curious Corrin - she is one of my favs and great to colour with.

Adding tags...

At CHA I got the opportunity to have a look through some on Dyan Reaveley's journals.  To say that are totally amazing is an understatement.  In one of her journals she added a tag so I thought I better give it a go.

I have used some of the new stamps from the Under the Sea set.

I love the idea of having some hidden journalling under the tag.

I also used black paint through the stencils to add the black starts.  I then used a white marker to outline them.
